In 2020, the GEL lab is hosting a series of events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rosalind Franklin’s birth. Rosalind Franklin was a pioneer in the field of genetics and is an alumni of Birkbeck. Keep checking here for updates on events throughout 2020

January 2020

The GEL lab is running a Genetics 101 workshop for 90 children in primary schools in London

The event will include lectures, quizzes and a DNA extraction practical

February 2020
