GEL lab to welcome new postdoctoral researcher

This year, the GEL lab advertised a new postdoctoral researcher position. The postdoc will have the chance to work on the Longitudinal Experiences and Perceptions (LEAP) project. LEAP is a new Medical Research Council-funded project. Led by Dr Angelica Ronald, and supported by a team of collaborators from across the UK, the project aims to add to our understanding of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
The GEL team looks forward to welcoming its latest member in autumn 2012.

Dr Angelica Ronald awarded the British Psychological Society’s Spearman Medal

Congratulations to Dr Angelica Ronald, the director of the GEL lab, who has recently been awarded the Spearman Medal by the British Psychological Society (BPS).

The BPS awards the Spearman Medal annually to early career academics in psychology who have published outstanding original work that has made a substantial contribution to psychological theory. The Spearman Medal was first awarded in 1965.
