We held the launch meeting of the London Genetics Network online in December. It was a fantastic event, attended by nearly 200 participants! Inspiring talks were given by distinguished and early career researchers alike. Plans were discussed to hold an annual conference commencing next year – watch this space! The GEL lab hosted an online workshop on using virtual machines for genomic data analysis. Many thanks to Ulrich Stoof for sharing his expertise. We plan to roll out further online workshops in 2021 with a focus on expanding our knowledge and training in Data Science.
